SPARES PROCEDURE
System works as follows:
- The team captain sends an email to spares@mtsmail.ca giving their name, contact info, plus date, time and location of the game.
Example: June 20th at Bel Acres @ 10:00 am
Contact – Joe Roberts at 204-555-5555
Optional: Cell number and/or email address
- The Spares Coordinator will then send an email to all the spares with the above information and he will phone any spare without an email address. He will also send a copy to the person requesting the spare to confirm that the request has gone out.
- The requester should keep this email until after their request has been filled.
- It is then the spare’s responsibility to get in touch with the contact mentioned in the email.
- If the Team Captain receives no response within 24 hours, he is free to find a player on his own:
(a spare, regular member, or if necessary a non-member).
- Once a spare is obtained, the requester may want to do a “reply all” to the other spares indicating that a spare has been found.
This would be a “Reply All” to the conformation email I sent out. I would appreciate this to help keep my records up to date.
